Mentor Capital Program

The Mentor Capital Program (MCPP) prepares Endeavor’s top entrepreneurs for the fundraising process and provides them with venues to meet and pitch potential investors. MCP Entrepreneurs are provided a proprietary investment-readiness curriculum which includes the development of marketing documents, workshops, and mentorship from U.S. and European successful investors and investment bankers. The experience culminates in a series of pitch forum opportunities with local and international investors. On the heels of the success of the 2009 pilot in the Southern Cone, the program expanded to the rest of Latin America, and the MENA region in 2010.

In the first class, two of five MCP Entrepreneurs raised capital and a third, Three Melons, had a successful acquisition by a U.S. firm Playdom, which was subsequently purchased by Disney. In the second class, two of four MCP Entrepreneurs received term sheets as a result of their presentation during the pitch forum. The program is expanding to include more opportunities for MCP Entrepreneurs and previous graduates to pitch their businesses to U.S. and international investors.
